I'm planning to get one, but I only have Q300 Cat-Back.
I have a P&L overpipe, Invidia catless resonated front pipe (the resonator type on the frontpipe can make a difference - the Invidia frontpipe resonator is a simple short canister resonator), and Invidia Q300 catback. I just got it, but so far sounds pretty good. Absolutely no drone. Quiet puttering around, but sounds aggressive when you are on it. Q300 by itself with no other exhaust mods sounds almost as quiet as stock.

Anyone know if I have to order exhaust-header gaskets?

For those curious, I liked the sound (if I can go by that) on FA20's and P&L versions. The front pipe many had only CAT versions w/o resonator and the few video on youtube from Nameless I didn't care for that sound. So we'll see.

Weeks out for FA20 header though, same with P&L... unless a vendor has a catted one in stock from a order cancelation..

Ron
I see the FA20 header loops over into the engine bay with the catted version (as well as the non catted). Are you worried about temps?

My main concern is the TRD cat back. I haven't had anyone comment (that I've come across) with something quotable, like: "I just got out from under my car after measuring the TRD pipe and it is X.XX" "

I've been told its 2.5, but that is not the same as being under there and measuring it.

So my big question is would a dealer be willing to make a 2.5" mid pipe that fits the TRD exhaust? I would be really interested and I'm sure a lot of people who have the TRD exhaust would like to upgrade to full 2.5" piping. All opinions on what I should do are appreciated but I really like the TRD look so I would like to keep the axel back portion (plus I spent $950 on it). Thanks in advance.

Update

Yesterday I had the Motiv Overpipe installed and Invida Frontpipe w/resonator.

1st I was amazed at how much my stock pipes weighed when I took them out of the car. Felt twice as heavy as the above replacement parts.

Now for sound.
The interior is more quiet which is what I wanted, but open the windows or be outside and it has the need deep TRD sound. As for Invida resonator it added a not to noticeable tin-can sound I think. Not 100% sure. but it is minimal.

With that installed and Unichip 92 w/(Fuel +/ Timing Neutral) it rockets like a bat out of hell at 4K+ rpm.

Can't wait for my FA20Club headers!!!
