I have the OFT and use the gauge functions on that to monitor oil temps and some other things.
I think I maxed out around 263F on oil temp.

It was good meeting and talking to some of you on Saturday. I was one of the loners in Open group I see people above were talking about data logging and monitoring so I thought I'd share one of my videos.

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ilk0-CBF3w"]Session 2 - Thunderhill - 06/28/2014 - NCRC - YouTube[/ame]

I use Dashware to bring everything together
* GoPro for video
* HLT for lap time and track map
* Torque for everything else you see in the video

I won't be at the next one (8/2 & 8/3) but I will be at t hill for the 5 mile this Saturday. Maybe I'll see a couple of you there?

No mods here.

I think torque reads the ambient temp 5-10* lower than what the car shows. It topped 285*F / 215*F (oil / water) around 85* ambient - but I'm pretty sure it's around 90-95.

well, I think its a good time to consider an oil cooler because I had DI failure right after THill last June .....

So the legends are true... DI failure

I am considering but my data hasn't convinced me in a definitive way.

I ran 100 octane after the 2nd session (pumped in 7 gallons) because it was getting hot and I didn't want to pull timing.

Sorry to keep telling you bad news- i was on 100 octane also last June at THill and did not prevent DI failure
