Anyone been able to fit a 2" EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch on their 2017-2020 86?

Link to the product: https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hit...ils=.questions

Installation attempt:

As you can see, the hitch receiver seems to protrude into the bumper.

Even if I remove the hitch receiver, it seems that the hitch frame itself isn't compatible with the bumper:

I was pretty tired while trying to install this, so maybe if I give it another go with a fresh set of eyes, I'll be able to do it. Before I do though: was wondering if anyone can confirm compatibility?

I've seen videos of the hitch going on fine on an FRS:

and a pre-facelift brz:

but not for a 2017-2020 86. Is it possible the rear bumper shape is somehow different enough for the 86 that the hitch isn't compatible?

Thanks all in advance!

We’re you able to work this out? You might have been the first.

I’m looking for one now and wonder how it worked for you?

I cant see the OPs images but i dont see why it wouldnt fit, there werent any structural changes to the facelifted brz or toyota 86 from the frs and pre face lifted brz that would change how the hitch mounts up

drawtite 24935
curt 11379
reese 77322

these all fit these cars relatively well
