Yes exactly Toyota has a habbit of over engineering stuff like the 1uz with over 1000 hand built before production the put it on the dyno at full load and it lasted 87000 before it blew. Direct injection and Yamaha tuned heads, I'm sure Subaru did a bit but I'm fairly certain this was Toyotas project. From what I have read they approached Subaru to buy the design of the boxer and were forced into a partnership.

Prediction is 10.6 if it can get the power down. Love the videos can't wait to get this kit one day. At least my Motors broken in 10000km in 3 months

Keep up the good work and il stop blabbering on...

... no

Its a Subaru engine. It doesn't have Yamaha heads, that was just a rumor. The only thing Toyota did for this engine is the D4-S.

The FA20 Subaru through and through. Expect to see it popping up in other Subarus very shortly, such as the next WRX.

That is just amazing .
Just wanted to know how reliable this would be in 122 F (50 C) (the 300 & 400). The temperatures hear reaches that in summer, with very high humidity 75%+. It would be 104 F (40 C) and that is before sunrise, the coolest time in the day.
Will dialing the power, boost down will be a safer for the engine. I am looking for a reliable DD. No racing for me.
Thanks again for the amazing project. You are brave in doing so.

I am in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

No. Subaru was responsible for the engine, suspension.

Christ. Team 86 was responsible for the car. SMFH. Get over the Subaru did this - Toyota did this already. Sheesh.

Now, Let's see how it does at the strip. @Don@Accelerated, when you have a minute, can you let us know how much the car weighs with the additional hardware? Thanks in advance.

Oh, and is a track day in your future?
