wow no post-action summary from anyone?

OK I will give a short one. It was a lot of fun. But it was also very hot. 100+ degrees. A lot of folks having heat issues with their cars, even a stock NA car would be seeing what many would regard as dangerously high temps.

Many of us were doing the 5-mile track for the very first time, and it was challenging and memorable for sure. Proud to say I now have experienced the Thunderschleife myself!

I took only a few photos, and shared them on the 86drive instagram. @Pwolf was there also and took much better photos I'm sure, and no doubt he will share them with us in due time.

And thank you to @MisterSheep and his GF Jenna for bringing their canopy for much appreciated shade!

@PMok Haha I was kinda waiting on someone else to post something.

I was wondering what times everyone was getting out there, if anyone was keeping track of their lap times.

I had a blast, haven't felt that good about track driving in a long time, even with the ridiculous heat. I usually give up by the afternoon and take it easy but I'm glad I stayed for most of the sessions, really saw my times drastically improving. Exclusive Track Days does a great job, I had no complaints whatsoever. It was awesome to see all the 86s that came out for this one.

It was my second time driving the 5-mile, my first was with a Mini Cooper S, and I bested that time by 13 seconds! I'm really starting to love this track setup.

Yup jenna thought ahead and she didnt want to have to sit in the sun all day..

Ill post more thoughts about my track experience for that day in a few, but like @PMok said.. i was one of those examples of a stock na 86 getting hot temps hit 258/260degrees for my oil temps at one point.

I missed the event but a few buddies went. Heard that some of you guys had very fast lap times compared to many of the cars with more HP. Which one of you guys "sweated" the GTR and made him crash? LoL.

Oops... Thought I had posted pictures. Turns out I had the window open and everything ready just never pressed OK, lol.

Here are a few select ones:

The rest can be found on my website here:

I guess this ended up being an 86Cup event as well, I will cross post this to that thread as well.

How often does this event come up? I saw last time someone posted on here is in June, so about twice a year?
