Thinking of buying a quick release hub and wheel sense I park in the street sometimes in hayward.

Yeah. Im thinking 2 locks now that my wheels arecosting more, i dont have garage parking at home or work, and i live in Stockton.

Locks are a deterrent. They can be beat, but make it more hassle. So the more the better. Imho mcguard and gorilla are the best locks

I think a loud alarm would work also. Most of these quick release hubs interchange with one another.

you drive a manual. That alone is a huge theft deterrant. Lol Removing an airbag may not be worth it in the end. We have insurance for a reason if it really comes to that.

A bit random but on our way to costco for lunch, a buddy and I were talking about the Sac auto museum and a random Lamborghini Gallardo shows up getting off of HW113 in Woodland... "oh look, a lambo! Dude must be lost..."

Been driving with all nannies off - what a different world. Obviously, be careful while you're driving but I'm speechless and having a blast! Let's just say that when I can safely do it, my tail will come loose... during my commute

My cat loves the car... she sings the songs of her people every time I have to take her somewhere...

your safety is worth more than your car. keep the airbag, knock on wood, you never know what's around the corner when going on spirited canyon drives.

old school honda guys will recall the fuel pump cut off switch trick. might be something to look into. other than that just make sure you have good insurance.

i'm personally more worried about random carelessness from adjacent parked cars and vandalism than theft. now a days if someone wants your car they will just tow it away and strip it elsewhere.

"A faster version of that car would be at the top of most people's wish lists, but like the cabriolet, it is hard to justify a business case to push either model into production based on the current sales," Killman told AutoExpress. "Personally, I think that engine could use a little bit more," he added."

Maybe I'm weird, but every time I drive my car I never think that it needs more power. I do have a drop in filter, silicone inlet tube, and catback exhaust but no tune or anything - and I think it's quite fast and capable.

I've read a couple of these articles today. GT86 sales a dropping everywhere while its just "as expected" here in the US. To my layman understanding, it just makes sense: a widely anticipated car goes on sale, demand is high and everybody wants one, once everybody who wants one gets one, demand drops, sales go down. The thing I don't understand is why are they basing future configurations/improvements on those sales. People who think "eh not enough power" or "wish it came as a convertible" are the same ones who didn't buy the car. I guess there's a reason I'm not a business man

Regarding "needing more power" I think that's just a case of "grass is greener on the otherside". Personally, after going from a WRX to a BRZ, sure I miss the kick in the pants once in a while, but then I also don't miss the orifice-puckering understeer.

semi-related: Its @PMok 's Stitch! Who needs more power?
