Exclamation unequal length headers

Anyone know of any manufacturers with unequal length headers in the works?
I'm sure there's plenty of people keen to get that boxer rumble going

I have not seen anything on any yet but I bet there will be, I believe they make less power compared to equal length though (maybe someone can correct me if i am wrong)

In the mean time...

that exhaust sounds pretty close to the Subaru rumble and is just a cat back

Interesting, I thought the Manifold was equal to help make the power that it already has.

Ah, that makes more since if they are just slightly unequal, the wrx/sti ones are way off to make room for the turbo stuff from what I have heard.

Take a look at the agency power header pics. I can't say for certain as I haven't held one in my hand, but in the pics they look like they are unequal length.

yeah the AP ones look unequal. The front pipes are much longer than the rearward ones on both sides.

and yeah the stock one is 30% different. That seems like a lot to me?

I also know the stock STI/WRX headers have more 90degree bends, and the BRZ ones are more 180 degree type bends, so maybe that's the difference in sound???

Yeah I'm prepared to give up a couple of KW's for the sound, it's not like the car's about straight line performance anyway.

This is more the sound that I'm after...

+1 would love to see some UEL headers for this car. I know this might kill some of the top end gains compared to a proper EL header, however if someone can make one that doesn't sacrifice too much it might be worth it. Sounds intoxicating IMO
