Axle Leaking Grease

So I was getting an alignment today, after running -11.5 degrees of camber, I'm not not surprised that my axle is starting to leak.

I'm back down to -3 degrees, and there's no noise yet, but there is axle grease coming from the driver side boot. Do they make replavement boot kits for our cars? Or am I just gonna bike the bullet and buy some DSS axles?

Coincidentally just had a buddy and fellow forum member @raul replaced his for the same motive under warranty at about 55k. His car isn't running that much camber that I'm aware of though so taking it may not work out.

I think in my case it has more to do with autocross launching than anything.

And the OP could be the extreme camber situation. There's never a dull when you modify your car lol.

So the boots? At least they're not too expensive.

That should be all you need as long as you don't hear clicking.. typically if you get the boots replaced and everything greased quickly after they start leaking you can avoid having to change the actual joints! Once you get dirt in the joints and start hearing clicking when turning then you will need to change the joints as well..

If your boots are leaking I'd find the source. If the CV's are loosing grease thats a problem. If you can get some grease in there I would think about tht..a pic with the boot off would be interesting to see too. :]

Thanks guys! No clicking noise yet. I'm down to -3.5 degrees of camber, but will be dropping to -2 degrees after I replace the boots.

I'm 100% positive the leaking is due to my -11.5 degrees, as well as drifting and launching on that much camber.

Yeh that'll do it..lol And did you say front? There's no CV's on the front just tie rod ends connected to the steering rack. If a tie rod end is leaking you should replace it right away. You don't want to have one break on you. With that camber with drifting is not a good combo for the stock tie rods. I'd get extra heavy duty if you continue to drift

Nah, no problems up front, only the driver side rear.
