STI MOTOR and TRANS mounts released.

Pics of trans mount to follow shortly.

makes a HUGE difference if you have headers and full exhaust and or close fitting exhaust parts. STi uses group-n durometer rubber but UNLIKE when you would add these to the WRX or STI, there is NO extra NVH. Yes simply revving the motor you see no more drastic engine movement.

Installing these DOES Require raising the motor about 2 inches. We finally had to remove the rack bolts to get them in. Other wise its a half hour install.

Ive had a set of these in for a few weeks. Both motor and trans, absolutely love them. I found install pretty straight forward for a motor mount. Motor has to go up, I did not touch the steering rack.

With an aftermarket over pipe and catless front section the passenger side engine mount comes out over the rear of the cross member. The driver side mount came out the front of the cross member. Ive done a handful of engine mounts on STI's and would rather do the BRZ mounts given a choice.

I wrote a bullet point type DIY on another thread about these. I did the install at a leisurely pace on the floor and found it straight forward. I guess it may depend on different people mechanical experience.

Anyone know what the difference is between the MT & AT tranny mounts. The engine mounts should be the same.

Will these mounts fit the frs? Question seems dumb, but I want to be sure.

They should but if you are really worried TRD japan make the same parts...

Use google translate on this link HERE

From what I can tell the STI parts are easier to get than the TRD outside of japan.
