Coming from a Mitsu background, I gotta say that Driveshaft Shop has a pretty good rep with that crowd.

DSS has a great reputation in the domestic world as well. I've never had firsthand experience with PST though, so can't provide a useful comparison. I don't know anyone who's had problems with driveshaft shop gear.

I would say that if you look enough you can find customers who have had problems with both brands on the various aftermarket forums.

DSS seems to be a little more forthcoming on their website with their end bonding process (which I generally think most of the problems come from) but it seems mixed with a fair bit of market speak...honestly, both are probably fine given the fact that none of us are putting 500ftlb of torque through anything...yet.

Anyone know how much each of these driveshafts weigh? I thought I saw their weights one time and the Driveshaft Shop was like a pound lighter. And of course now I can't find the numbers again.

EDIT: I found some numbers from some stores, and they look like the numbers I saw months ago. The seem fairly trustworthy.

12.2lbs - Driveshaft Shop
13.9lbs - PST
-------
1.7 pound difference
