Pretty sure that just means the rods are frozen then smashed apart rather then cutting them because it's faster and cheaper and you won't mix them up since all the breaks will be different. Could be wrong

I don't think that would be possible, the stock cams are already shoved in there pretty tight. Atleast that's what this tear down suggested, http://www.revvolution.com/blog/2014...amp-amp-4u-gse "Speaking of the camshafts, SCR noted they have nice big fat lobes, so they may not be something we need to worry about swapping out. Couple that with the near infinite adjustability of the cam timing, and there may not be much need to put big aftermarket cam shafts in to get the power. As SCR stepped into the combustion chamber, they noticed there is not a whole lot of clearance between the valves and the pistons. If you’re trying to go with cams that have higher lift and/or duration, you could potentially have interference issues."

On a side note...this RC car will definitely make you redefine speed.

The HKS cams will not work with stock pistons due to clearance issues.

If I ever see a conrod that looks like crushed ice...well, whomever that conrod belonged to is not having a good day.

Of course! haha

This HKS is running stock size pistons so it's just the extra displacement from the crank. I think the best bet to maximize this setup is sleeve the block and bump up to custom 87mm or 87.5mm max

That would be 2.14L or 2.16L

The HKS cam profile is quite nice for NA but wouldn't make a huge difference for an FI application. Hopefully FI specific cams come out with 270/270 range profiles.

Pricing asap please, might consider this over a 2jz swap. Anything from HKS drives me crazy.
