So would the same go for the reverse? I have a set of sport edition rims for the winter. I was planning on using my stock lug nuts.

I'm running stock lugs on my RPF1's just fine, as long as the wheels you have for the winter are meant for conical seat lugs you're fine.

As long as they're conical seat, yes. McGard might make different seat styles, not sure.

"For use with wheels with lug nuts that utilize a 60 degree tapered cone seat at the bottom." I imagine the oem wheels are 60 degree tapered cone seated? |

I ran Muteki open end (sr48) on stock wheels. Only downside to open is the debris/water that can get it. The sr48 stick out a fair bit but I bought them in prep for ARP studs

It's probably worth noting the stock studs thread easily. I had two thread on me last time I rotated my tires. And yes, they were torqued down to factory spec 89 ft-lbs.
Just a heads-up if you're planning on swapping out all your lug nuts. |
