catback exhuasts
Hey everyone, I'm in the market to upgrade to an aftermarket catback exhuast for my scion frs. I'm the most interested in the perrin unresonated, corsa, borla, or greddy but I am open to any others as well. I know there are sound clips online but I feel like i still can't get a good feel for how they really sound and I want to make sure I like the exhuast before I spend hundreds of dollars on it. So if anyone is in the san diego area and willing to meet up I will pay you just to let me hear the exhuast. Thanks guys!

You should consider the MXP SP exhaust, everywhere I've gone, subaru dealerships, auto shops, just in the last month techs and service managers come up to me and comment on the craftsmanship of the exhaust and the sound is great, if you ever come up to the orange county area like irvine or anaheim you can listen to mine. its great.

I have the MXP with UEL headers and love the rumbles. a bit loud on cold starts though. the MXP is pretty heavy too so if weight savings is your thing, then this exhaust probably won't do much for you.

+1 for te MXP SP Exhaust. It sounds great; isn't obnoxiously loud but you can definitely hear it..especially with test pipe.

If you're free on Thursday nights, come by our weekly meets in Rowland Heights, CA. We usually have around 15-20 modded 86's. You're free to go around asking for exhaust clips and their setups. It's freeeee too.

I have the Perrin 2.5 Resonated catback, with stock header I couldn't tell the difference between stock and the catback but paired with a UEL, it sounds awesome and mean!
