Also I don't think the thread is about you now back to child's table
The only grandmother I knew wasn't even related to me by blood and died when I was 11. It was a very traumatic time for me. She adopted my father and beat the hell out of him when he was a kid, but spoiled me rotten. I still remember her getting me fried fish sandwiches at the local pizza shop when I was a toddler...I can still taste them when I think about those times. If she was still alive, you're damn right I'd let her drive it. That's the kind of thing that high quality people like BRZ owners do!

Few things.

1. OP is from China. IP address is from China.
2. Some of y'all need to chill.

Back on topic.
OP, please check here for cosmetic difference: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2998

Like some of member stated, interior is almost same due to Scion is only US brand. Toyota 86 give several different grades (G, GT, GT Limited), if you exclude TRD, 14R and other limited edi. Subaru BRZ is about same as well.

IF you're coming to US for some reason and looking into purchasing Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ then Scion FR-S have only one model vs Subaru BRZ have 2 different grades. You can find all other detail info EVERYWHERE in this forum and Scion/Subaru website. Search and if you need more specific questions, ask.

You're bad at reading humor on these forums. And calling other people children (or name calling in general) really doesn't make anyone look good.

His first post was a joke, you took it the wrong way and now you're just getting trolled. Calm down.

Do you have something against 11 year old girls? My grandma was one once and grew up to raise 2 kids as a single mother in the middle of the Cultural Revolution after her husband disappeared.

But here's the thing: even 11 year old girls know that the BRZ is the better car that all the cooler people drive. Everyone else is just beta. And once you own a BRZ, the coolness always follows you in whatever you drive. You get double cool points if you get a WRX next, but it's poseur points if you own them at the same time( I'm talking about YOU, @DSOmegaX).

No offence but you have one of the ugliest cars in the world. I think kids should be seen not heard. You have no respect for anyone I can see that and you really have no business talking to me because you and are generations apart and world's apart and sounds like you really know nothing about cars other than what's todays fad. So with that being said. Asta. Have a nice life kid

In a perfect world, I'd have the BRZ headlights with the FRS bumper.
Hearing that you don't like the JDM HIDs is acid to my eyes and ears haha.

To be fair, I dont like the JDM Headlights either. I wouldn't go far to call it tacky just I don't like the "exposed" LED look. I prefer the LED light bar look.

From what I read, the CEO of Toyota was walking thru the show room (Im guessing every car built is in there? dunno) and says "where is the passion? Lets build a sports car" Then subaru reached out with the rest and it was born.

Look at the car, it looks nothing like no kind of Subaru Ive seen (except for the vent window, which I love even though its non functional. But it looks much much more like a Toyota 2000. Listen to the car it sure as hell sounds nothing like any Toyota, it has that familiar boxer rumble to it. It's a good mating pair and I think they did a good job, but Subaru does sell more than Toyota and I think that can be blamed on the SCION badge which is a brand that I love and was loyal to me for ten years.

Someone said a better quality of folks buy the Subaru? I buy what I like and whats a good deal. At the time I didn't see any Subaru's near me and their both the same car and I love Scion. The one reason, and main reason I chose this car. It looks incredible and nothing on the road looks like it. Someone ask my wife was it a Fourty thousand dollar car. It looks more expensive than it is IMO, but some think the opposite. When I buy cars I look for value and performance dollar and fun, I don't look for finish grades and buttons that do a million things at once. I drive it I don't live in it. My mustang didn't have junk in it ,this car has no junk in it. It's simple basic and fun. I love the retro old school sport and super car look to (look at the old Ferrari's, , old European gull wing cars, look at most old vintage race cars, the FRS/BRZ looks very similar.

That's just my take on which is best, neither is best
Hey, hows it going? Unfortunately you have your story completely backwards of how the 86 what created. Basically Toyota was designing a new sports car basing it off of the 2000GT, Sports 800 and AE86. After trying a couple of different engine layouts they had no luck of what they wanted it to be. Toyota then contacted Subaru and after awhile of trying to get them on board the project Subaru finally agreed and they co-designed the engine and car together. As for who sells more, Toyota vs. Subaru, It's a proven fact that Toyota sells more 86s than Subaru sells BRZs.

Fair enough. The FR-S Monogram, 10 series, and RS headlights are the JDM ones just for future references.

As I said saw and read, I don't apply what I saw or read as truth, only what I gained from it. I think one was from a first drive video.
