Will a 2017 86 TRD exhaust fit on a 2013 FRS

Ok this is a dumb question but I’m new to owning these cars. As the title says I was wondering if a TRD Exhaust from a 2017 86 will fit on a 2013 FRS. I tried looking for answers but got nothing, and I know both the cars are mostly the same but also saw that there were some revisions to the 2017 and up 86’s in regards to headers and some parts of the exhausts. Also it’s not the quad tip trd exhaust.

The bolts at the header flange are spaced a bit differently. People managed to get them to work by widening the holes a bit.

If you bolt on from the catback position it will fit perfectly. I have a 2017 stock catback for my 2013 and it fits without issue.

Awesome thanks for the answers, I initially thought that the whole exhaust system was revised but it was just the headers that were revised so that makes me relieved.

This is the fist time to hear this. I have the revised exhaust manifold (header) and when I installed it in the shop they didn't tell me anything about fitting issues.

@ABGHUNTER_86 Is this TRD exhaust an axleback or a catback? If it is a catback, then you won't have any fitting issues.

I installed a 2019 MT header on my 2014 AT without any issue using the stock 2014 overpipe. There was no hole adjustment needed.

There are several threads on this. I personally have not done it but there are enough guys to have the issue to say it is there.

17 muffler that needs narrowing to fit 13-16 mid pipe

had to take a grind off wheel and slot the muffler tos it would accept the wider 17 bolt pattern or the narrower 13-16 bolts
