I wanted an extension to my catback without increasing noise by much more while getting some better flow with a cat less pipe since I'm keeping the catted header and my wishes have been heard. Its good I started saving money after new years cause this is my next purchase. Can't wait for it to be available 😍

sub'd! Im interested in this as I heard that pairing a header with my corsa catback will make it insanely loud....curious if this will make a difference (im currently catless/unresonated frontpipe)

Stock everything:
83.9db Stock w/ Berk catted front pipe: 86.4db Tested out Blitz Nür-Spec F-Ti (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97259): F-Ti + stock front pipe: 103.4db F-Ti + Fujitsubo front pipe: 103.3db F-Ti + Berk catted front pipe: 106.3db Tested out Blitz Nür-Spec VSR (formerly C-Ti) (https://www.flickr.com/photos/137904...57661914716973) -- exhaust is same as VS, just w/ burnt tips VS/VSR + stock front pipe: 86.0db VS/VSR + Fujitsubo front pipe: 85.2db VS/VSR + Berk catted front pipe: 86.9db The front pipe was actually better than stock in terms of sound suppression when paired with certain types of aftermarket exhausts. Next up will be Tomei UEL header and (hopefully) Fujitsubo catted header. Those tests will be done on my car once I get it back from the dealer. -alex |
