What tires would you recommend?

I purchased a new set of WedsSport TC105X wheels - this is a new size that became available this year.

17 x 8.5 +43

I want to get Michelin Pilot Sport 4S - they come in the 2 sizes that I'm considering:

225/45/17
245/40/17

I would prefer 235's but Michelin does not sell this size.

Which size of tire would you recommend?

I appreciate your feedback.

245 if boosted, 225 if not.

The 225s are likely a better width for the car but will ever so slightly have a negative effect on acceleration (25" vs 24.7" diameter).

The 245s would have the exact same diameter as 215/45, so no effect on gearing/acceleration. I'd go with 245s in a heartbeat.

No,

225 is a perfect tire width for 8" wide wheels.

Please post some pics about the wheels when you get them.
I'm debating about similiar setup.

Cheers.
