Well, it wasn't an ideal event at NJMP Lightning this weekend. It was the first session of the second day. The track was right and I was pushing pretty hard. I got down to a 1:16.1 and continued to push until I dipped the rear wheel in turn 1 and slid across the still dewy the grass to meet the outside wall. From what I have inspected so far the car looks repairable. My safety equipment did it's job and physically, I am 100%. The mental toll of this will haunt me for a while but its a risk we take and one that I have been aware of. The central New York winters often drag on until late April so I have a good amount of time to fix it. I will be sure to update with repairs and new goodies I have already planned.
Rear damage Front Damage Straight control arm Bent control arm Already took it apart for inspecting. Frame "looks" good.

Also, if anyone knows where to get body support panels (like the one surrounding the headlight) please let me know. As of right now the only option I know is the dealer.

Got some track day pics from NJMP which will most likely be the last with the car looking like this. Since the crash I have come up with some interesting ideas on a custom wrap for the car.

Yep. I was planning on getting a truck/trailer this winter. The crash really cemented that plan.

Made a little more progress tonight. As crappy as this situation is, the FRS is an incredibly serviceable car. I was able to un-bolt all of the bent parts other than 6 places where I had to drill out a spot weld. Even after crashing the car I still continue to like it even more.

My condenser was damaged so no more AC. I went to the Pirelli World Challenge race over the summer and noticed a few BRZ guys that took apart their AC compressor to remove some weight but maintain the pulley as a free AC delete.
New hood, bumper and fender installed.

The rebuild is still in progress. It has been just a boring bunch of oem replacement parts not worth sharing until now. I fabbed up a oil cooler mount in place of where the ac condenser was mounted. Now it should be less susceptible to ripping off in an off-roading excursion.
I also did the "snorkel mod" for funzies.

I am not a fan of any headlight other than the OEM 2013-2016 BRZ headlights. I still plan to get BRZ headlights at some point but I got headlights tail lights and front blinker housings for 100 bucks. Couldn't pass up the deal.
