Love it! I bet it feels amazing to drive after some of these "lightening mods". Wish I could drive it myself and experience it! Keep up the good work.

Edit: Post up more pics of the exhaust!

Still has the interior door panels so that helps with any changes I really didn't pay attention or notice much of a difference

2) Since I never carry a spare and never plan on selling the car, I sawed off the spare wheel female thread in the bottom of the trunk. I mostly did this for the flat trunk space as I removed all the foam and laid down carpet back there. But maybe a few ounces of weight savings?
Thank you for #1 ive seen these before and took them off today finally!

-.5 lbs free loss!!

Got the exhaust installed today! I am really impressed with this I was scared it would be too loud. Fitment was perfect

Keep in mind the cat on my Hooker Headers front pipe was rattling/then clogged/ then blew partially out within the last month. I stuck a plumbing snake up there and something is still intact.

Will most likely take a gamble now on a catless 2.75"/70mm front pipe soon

It sounds remarkably tame. I was expecting it to be really loud.

Thanks Tom

Thanks Tom
Ill be honest there is more cabin bass than the Borla after driving it. But its only at low cruising speeds, at highway speeds its fine, and sounds amazing and smooth at full throttle.

I will be passing on the straight front pipe idea and getting something 70mm with a resonator

My intention is header and catback only and leave the rest stock. The tone sounds much different than a Borla, not that I think a Borla sounds bad or anything. Let us know what you think when you get the front pipe replaced. I'm very curious as I've been eyeing this catback too.

Wow, it kinda makes me think about taking off my Tomei 60S and getting one of these!

Great build, I love the lightweight approach and I’m very jealous of those dry carbon body parts

Did you ever get / find a lightweight sway bar? specifically a front one? i know cusco has the 14mm hollow for the rear not sure the weight but probably 2-3lbs lighter, but i prefer taking off as much front weight as possible since i have a sprintex supercharger, need to re-balance the car.

Yes Cusco has 16mm front vs 18mm stock So it should be light but its not hollow. I will be getting it soon with ebay gift card money!

Im most likely just going to get a early model rear 14mm Sway vs the 15mm on 17' models. Like you my concern at this point is getting more off the front.

awesome, let us know if it has any good weight reduction.
You should put a list of every weight reduction mod you've done so far and put it in your first post for easy reference for other people. Your probably the lightest active member on here. I'm at about 210lbs weight reduction by my SC adds about 65lbs back into the front, and so much easy weight reduction is done in the rear. but i am close to getting the stock weight balance back.

Not a huge revelation but I was thinking a gutted stock steering wheel would be the same weight as my NRG wheel + adapter. Damn right!

I really like the MY 17+ wheels, now I get my radio buttons back and cruise control back, plus should be easier to pass inspections with a stock wheel

Gutted the airbag and some useless chunk off metal

3lbs 15oz gutted

NRG with adapter
3lbs 12oz

So nearly the same weight, balance has been restored!

I thought my file was there, done. I added text file with weights to first post.
Could be some debate as to what I am considering Front/Middle/Rear but it works for me

That's why I wanted to stay NA so I wouldn't add weight/complexity to the front. But im sure your car hauls ass!
