Honestly I'd tell him to go F*** himself. 26k is 1,500 under a brand new price. Actually, according to @Stang70Fastback its 1,350 under.

Dealer Service Fee? The first dealer I went to for my Series.Blue tried to put that on my bill of sale after we agreed on price. I walked out on him right away.

Seems like a ripoff to me.

That's what I thought too but I can't get any of the dealers here to give me a price like that on a new vehicle

Uhhh, then I dunno man. It seems like getting a used one isn't worth it, almost feels like there is no initial depreciation hit. You can try and look for dealers farther out and get the car shipped.

This dealer is already pretty far out (4 hour drive).

Maybe I should give up and look for a limited trim in texas instead

Also, you can ask them how the hell the NADA value is 28,995 if brand new nada is 29,490.

I get that they're dropping like 2,995 per some autonation saving. Tell them to take a realistic NADA and then take off the 3k.

I sent him a pretty finalized email stating that if he can do 26k OTD (about 24k for the price) I will take the car off the lot next week.

We will see how badly they want to sell this.
I want the car pretty badly, so if he bites 26k OTD, I think i'll be satisfied with it.

I don't think I can afford to get a new one even if it's only 1.5k more, seeing as how I'm already forking out more money than I originally planned on spending to get a used one.

Thanks for sticking with me about this though. I'll keep you updated.

I was originally planning to get a car for 20k...ended up at 32k out the door (with warranty and service contracts) and already put about 1k into it (just minor things)... My BRZ for me is like all the clothes in the world for my gf.

Update: I have offered 26k OTD for the series blue, but no response so far.

I have received a quote from another dealer for a 2013 used limited BRZ with 13k miles on it for 24,520 OTD (about $23k* for the vehicle)

What's a target price I should be shooting for? The dealer is being a bit hesitant stating that this is as low as he can go

Limited. 2 years old. 13k miles. I'm sure you can get one for 21k. Maybe less. Maybe even 19

OTD or just the price of the vehicle?

Just calculated it and it's about 22k for the vehicle. I'm asking how much they'd give me in trade in for my beater car, so we'll see how it goes.

I'm thinking I might just need to bite the bullet on the Series Blue one since no one in florida likes to negotiate on a car.
