Will not get it. I would rather spend 750 on bolt ons or a set of tires.

I'm hoping my friend can get it for me for cost+10% or something. Probably still $450 but... leave me alone, I like factory aero!

Now where's the STi front splitter?

It basically looks like the R205 STi diffuser for the GRB. And the situation is same on that car, the underbody is so un-aerodynamic I doubt it does much. They do look pretty cool though.

I think it looks decent on the car, but not $750 worth of decent. I'd rather spend the money towards wheels.

I agree that it looks pretty sharp, and I think i'd like to have one on my car at some point.. but not for $750.. holy crap!
I agree, why spend $750 on an unpainted body part? The aftermarket will have them real cheap. Plus you should get a better exhaust first.

The gaping wide rear diffuser openings make the stock chrome-tipped pipes look too small/out of place. Larger diameter tips would fill it out nicely; I'd get the rear diffuser only to complement an aftermarket exhaust.

Believe me, it won't be my first mod. Wheels and suspension, then exhaust, then aero. I wanna get that TRD duckbill spoiler to replace the OEM one; I think it looks a lot cleaner.

Probably all for looks... I've never been a fan of the Varis/Voltex style "under diffuser panel" either (what they're calling a "Diffuser" here) which have been available for other models of car aftermarket for some time now... The diffuser is the gigantic dark integrated part of the bumper that comes stock on all BRZ/FR-S and it looks fine by itself

^^^ This! I liked the way it looked in the JDM brochure that was posted earlier and i was planning on getting it, but after seeing the video it looks strange IMO. With larger diameter tips it would probably look much nicer!

Plus, $750 is a lot for that, i would rather get winter tires with that money.

I honestly didnt even know what it was going to look like when I added it to my pre-order, but I'm happy I did. I get why people think $750 is too much, but personally this car is below my price point so I thought what the hell. And within 6 months of delivery I'll have new exhaust on it to fill up that gaping space so it should look pretty clean. Especially with the black 18's it'll be sitting on.

Looks nice but I wouldn't waste my money on it, rather get some power mods for that kind of money. A nice greedy exhaust will fill the area nicely

The rear diffuser came already equiped on my BRZ limited.
It is for looks only. It's just textured matte black plastic that is bolted on.
It flexes when you wipe it with a cloth. It's not going to produce any downforce...just looks cool. I'm going to order the STI front lip and sides as soon as they are available in USA.

..

Looks good, but I wouldn't spend $750 for it.
