Looks like there might be new fog light covers hiding under there. Check out the cross pattern peaking out.
But honestly, its most likely just a side-mount intercooler for the new quad turbo system... one turbo per cylinder of course. I'll wait for http://media.subaru.com to confirm though. |

Granted, I don't own a BRZ/86 but I've driven a few and part of the fun of the car is it's power. You have to work to go fast. You have to maintain corner speed. It's not a drag strip rocket or a point and shoot car. There are plenty of those cars out there.
If the power got bumped up it would make the car so expensive that it would push it up into the high 30's for a loaded model where it would compete with Mustang GT, Camaro SS, etc. And AWD?? Aw hell no. That's just extra weight. Love the BRZ the way it is. Light, good handling, adequate power, and RWD. |
