DUDE! I had that very kit! I still find bits and pieces of it around in random place to this very day. I bet if I was willing to spend an hour or two digging I could find that freakin' speaker.

Many many many hours studying that book. Dye had been cast early for me.

God I loved that set. I built every thing in the book about 10 times and then started stealing the parts for real life projects. I know the rheostat went to a home made turntable where I ruined about 3 albums (my sister's) before I got things right. This is probably why I still have so many parts around 45 years later.
Damn this thread is so nostalgic it is driving me nuts. Back to the Classic Toys section of Ebay I go.

Here is the old Revell P38 I did up for him. It was a gift for his Father who worked on them.
That is really nice work. Haha, i completely relate when it comes to hidden details; that's why we leave all the panels and hatches open, right?

I love Beast Ranger OP! (Obviously it's not the first power ranger in Japan... it's call Beast Ranger : Dino Force over there & I watched it again here as power ranger when I barely speaks any english. )

I happened across a treasure trove of discarded electronic components and scooped them all up when I was 10 or 11 years old. I tried to make use of them but it was so hit & miss that my dad took pity on me and started taking me to Radio Shack for the right parts.

One of my favorite toys from way back when...

My wife surprised me with a new one about ten years ago...(I'm much more careful with this one :p).
