I’ve had all sorts of encounters. I had a guy in a C6 Corvette asking me how much HP and what size engine my car has In it, same thing in a store parking lot from a guy in a 2013 mustang. I’ve received all the standards from both guys and gals, nice car, sweet ride, love your car, what kind of Subaru is that? Is that really rear wheel drive? The most recent was in New Jersey and there were no words exchanged…

I was driving down a fairly quick road (55mph speed limit) when out of nowhere a guy in a Porsche Boxster convertible pulls up next to me and matches my speed. When I didn’t look over he down shifted and ripped ass, and cut me off and slammed his brakes. The car had the ugliest wing I have ever seen and I’m assuming a muffler delete, it was loud and sounded horrible.

I had to park the car at my mother's office for the day to take transit for the rest of my commute. She told me her co-workers kept asking how come Subaru sells a rebadged Scion too? Those STI rims can't have came with the car, are they even for this car? My mom spent the bulk of the time explaining how it's a Toyota / Subaru joint venture and all the sheet metal is stamped Subaru, while all the optional parts are factory JDM.

Of course nobody believed a word she said cuz she doesn't even care about cars in general but I educated her well.

Neighbours love the look of my car. Strangers who don't know the car think I'm another typical rich kid in my city with a fast and expensive sports car (when it's obviously not..haha). The other week, a cute girl chatted with me at the gas station about my car (and somehow led to what my job was...potential gold digger? lol) I totally forgot to get her name and number...

Had a Tesla following me and a M3 on the turnpike from Palm Springs to Miami last weekend,
2 speed bikes followed and all 4 did not pass.
(More like a "Gentleman's" spirited drive)
Wonder what the speed limit is going true the Sun Pass lanes?
We waved when we exited the toll, thumbs up and have some great dash cam video from the trip...

1. While I was driving into my parking structure, an old guy actually raised his arms and stepped in front of my FRS and said " Nice car! What model is it?"
2. At a company parking lot a girl tells me "That's a nice car. Looks like a Mazda."
3. As I was driving, a guy actually stuck his head out of the his car window to look at the car as it was leaving the intersection after a stop
4. At a company parking lot several of my cowrokers checking out my car. One asked, " Are you going to customize it some more?" . All I did was plastidipped the emblem.
5. One guy thought the car looked like and costed $50K+
6. One female response was "That's your car?!"
7. One female response was "So, you like low riders..." with a smirk
8. When I was getting a tint after picking up the car from dealer, the tint technicians were fighting over who was to drive it back to the lot after the tint job.
9. When the door opens and the window automatically rolls down, my date says.."Wow, your car is smart!"

so, pretty much positive comments so far...

By far. I also get random non-car people sometimes get my attention in parking lots and such and say "that's a nice car!"

Last of those was a lady in surgical garb (so probably a nurse of some kind) as I was leaving the bank ask if it was my car, and then tell me that it's a great-looking car.

As opposed to when I had my STI, only a few people (generally car people) give it a polite nod.

This car turns heads by enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike. I like

1. I pulled up at my friend's place and after his girlfriend recognized me she said, "I was wondering who that really rich dude was in the Porsche". I laughed my ass off, and proceeded to tell her about the car.

2. A guy and his wife gave me a thumbs up from their 2010 GT500.

3. Got into a spirited run with a guy in a M3, and at the next light we pulled off to the side of a parking lot and talked about the cars.

4. Guy at my college pulls up in a 10 series with paper plates and goes, "I loved your car so much that I went and got one".

5. Older guy came up to me at the gas station and says, "It looks like a little Ferrari!". Had to tell him the truth lol.

6. Girls always say that "it's cute", "looks like it's fast", and "when are you gonna give me a ride?". Except this one chick I know that is really into cars, she said that it needs boost lmao.

7. Guy in a white Audi R8 was coming up behind me at a decent clip. He passed me, slowed down, and gave me a thumbs up. We rolled down the highway for miles admiring each other's cars and having a little fun. That thing was wicked fast.

It's a lot of fun having this beautiful machine.
