I live in Chicago, car was purchased a week and a half ago, and I drove the car back same day. I conducted a regional search (1-day drive) for leftover 2017s. One other dealer in KY matched this offer, but it was for a Silver BRZ - I strongly preferred WRB. Surprised that many dealers did not want to go below 26,500, one even refused to budge below 27,500. I had an offer for a 2018 for $28.5 w/ PP, STI Shifter, and a bunch of other accessories from a Chicago area dealer, but didn't think the changes warranted an extra $2.5k.

Currently, I am driving 2003 Honda Pilot and it's been really well served with an exception of transmission issue which was rebuilt two years ago and it has about 180K miles. I will be using this SUV for quite sometime since the trade-in value is only $2,000.

I have been looking for BRZ for about a month and since I drove manual car 20 years ago, I shouldn't have issue driving BRZ. I was looking for limited, however my wife liked TS and one dealer offered me for $31K white, is this a good deal? Also, this car has 51 miles and I am worried about that too! I will be buying on Tuesday (7/10), I was also told to ask the dealer to fill tank with premium gas and not regular. Do I need to know more about this car, please share your experience and advise.

Model Year: 2018
Trim: BRZ TS
Type of Purchase: Finance
Color: Crystal White Pearl
Upgrades/Options: None
MSRP (before TTL): $35246
Offered (before TTL): $31000

I'm also in Houston and just paid $32,500 before TT&L last Friday. For the longest time nobody was coming off the price at all. I got offers from a few dealerships @ $31,250 for both the white and black but I wanted the blue so badly that I went ahead and paid a bit of a premium for it. I bought it at Gillman @ BW8 and 59 S. I have to say it was the easiest most stress free car buying experience of my life. I had already secured financing from a credit union but I let them have a go at it and they couldn't compete. I had heard and read horror stories about dealerships that would play with pricing when they realize they aren't getting the finance portion, but there was none of that. I was quite pleased. This is also my first MT and the salesman was nice enough to show me the ropes for a bit, which really helped. I'm still learning but I'm beginning to get the hang of it. Mine was filled with premium without asking for it and I was even told to be sure to use only premium. They really checked all the boxes. That's awesome your wife liked the tS! Mine is terrified of it and won't get in the car, lol.

Just watch out on these crappy Houston roads! These things sit really low!

I will be picking up BRZ TS this morning. I am wondering whether you tinted your car? If so, please let me know where did you do it and how much did it cost? I am buying cargo liner from the dealer also. Thanks.

I have not tinted it yet but I will be doing so soon. There is a shop at the front end of Trader's Village (Eldridge & West Rd) that have seen good things from. Should run about $100 and they will go as dark as you'd like.

Wow, you are pretty close to where I live. I am at Eldridge and Emmett behind Krogers. By the way, I picked up BRZ TS from the dealer and I drove manual 20 years ago and the transition from Automatic (Honda Pilot) to Manual (tiny) is tough. Anyway, I did stall the car twice at the intersection - what an embarrassment. I want to drive this weekend in my neighborhood try to familiarize biting point and throttle levels.

Very nice, I know where you are. I'm on West Little York between 6 and Barker. I am also doing my best to learn how to properly drive the car. Never driven a manual before so I had to employ the assistance of my daughter's boyfriend who moved here from Venezuela.

I got brave the first day I had it and drove out of the neighborhood only to stall it twice at a light and made a bunch of people sit through an extra cycle. I was quite embarrassed!

Now I wait until late before I go out so there is less traffic. I'm getting the hang of it but other drivers stress me out.

I have a gated community and I will be driving tomorrow nothing to worry about traffic. As I said before, I drove manual about 20 or 25 years ago.
