Unhappy haven't even made the first payment

so i havent made the first payment yet... pulling out of the subway parking lot. already stopped put it in gear and was pulling forward when bam.. the game stop manager decided he wanted to back up where i was.. i was so pissed i just walked off. came back and the guy was like i mustve been peeling out in my new hot rod and shit.. his insurance is still deciding who is at fault.. this happened thursday and i still feel like shit

this was how we were parked

damage to his car

and what happened to mine

it just sucks for me because ive worked in body shops before.. i know whats about to happen.. i know its not going to ever... ever be the same.. i know the guy doing it wants to get it out as fast as possible so he can make money.. i know the paint wont be perfect.. i know its going to be on car fax and the value just dropped.. ... guy tells me after we trade insurance info and all... sorry my car isnt as nice as yours...

From the locations of the damage on each of the cars it looks like you were all ready out of your parking spot and in the traffic lane. If so, it's pretty cut and dried it was his fault. Don't let his insurance **** you around.

I got mine. Though its annoying cuz it keeps doing the event recording on every speed bump or even the tiniest bump I hit while driving. I have it set to 0.8G on all directions

I dont know why its soo sensitive. But w/e

Sorry to see this happen with you... Hopefully it gets resolved with peace of mind for you afterwards.

Don't take it hard on yourself... Things like this can always happen because of human error, and everyone can be so unpredictable, I understand.

Yikes... Hope you get it fixed soon; and having it look flawlessly new again.

This is actually one of the many reasons why I got a white car instead of a darker coloured one.

Also you should demand that GameStop guy's head on a spike. How dare he hurt a FR-S.

Yeah, that's a pretty deep spot you were parked in, he should've seen you coming easily. I don't really like trusting my mirrors completely, I look in them, and over both shoulders, several times. If he had even glanced over his left shoulder he would've seen you before you even got behind him. He should've yielded. Personally, I hate those spots on the end like that, they're so hard to get in and out of.

PT Cruiser drivers are universally awful. Both in taste and driving ability.

I left my dent, from my vandalism incident, and suprisingly nothing has happened since, there is a curse with all the new frs/brz cars, get your first hit out of the way and after that you are fine. And i agree about your bodyshop comment, the key is finding a shop that actually cares about cars, most just pump out minivans all day.

The insurance guy asked me if I heard a horn.. He said the guy beeped his horn.. Which he didn't ... I had my music off and everything.. I told the insurance guy if he beeped his horn why did he keep backing up.. If we hit both corners of the bumper I'd take half responsibility... But I backed all the way up... Had it in gear and pulling to the left.. I had to back up just to get it back in the spot.. I was in both mirrors, and the rear view.. He never looked.. And from what I know in the way these cars or all one piece quarter panels.. The whole back right side has to be cut off... All the spot welds, rear glass door trunk all that has to come off.. It hit the rim, everything is straight I'm sure, but what if its not.. What if the rear end was knocked just enough... Blah.. I just hate it all..
