Dude, I was wondering the same thing! That was my first thought as these new pics started coming out! I saw a fantastic looking arm rest on the last BRZ prototype they were showing so thought for sure it would come on these new ones! But maybe that's an "option" too that only Subaru will have in the States? Time will tell. Either way, I'm going Subaru BRZ this time around! I've seen enough of this Toyota.

Okay...but remember, Toyota's warranty service kicks Subaru in the balls.

Curious, I've never heard that about the Ford's mind linking a source? I figured they'd be low compared to the volume of base models, top trim levels are always the least sold from the Mustang GT in 1965 to the Hellcat Charger or any BMW M or Merc AMG today but at 200k and 60k respectively that's lower than I would have guessed.

It's all clickbait these days, they jerkoff the FiST/FoST because it gets them facebook likes from guys who are 'just saving up for a used one next year' or 'yeah I got the titanium Focus, it's basically an ST' and angry comments from the 'ferd drools chevys rule' crowd.

hey speaking of the 'next year' guys, @Bristecom does it have enough power for you yet?

Now the cool looking toyota's are the Scion FRS's. Ugly ones are Toyota 86's

New toyota 86 front end is just ugly looking, BRZ is the way to go in the future.

Best looking of all the 86's is the 2012, and 2013 FRS(also the 2015 series 1.0). The Scions and BRZs are still the cool looking ones. Anything that comes new with a Toyota badge will be one of the "ugly ones"

Strat, I believe it will actually. Not because of the measly 5 hp / lb-ft of torque gain, but that, combined with the shorter gear ratios would likely be just enough to satisfy me. And it looks like the new BRZ should have pretty much all the options I've been wanting and looks better to me than the old BRZ so I'm pretty sure now that's where I'm gonna go. So was it worth the wait? I think so... But with that said, I think I still would have been pretty happy if I had jumped on an FR-S Monogram too (but my finances were a bit tight at that time). I am curious if an STI version will be coming this year too though. I'd love to have summa dem Brembo's.

What if the gearing is taller? Better 0-60 time without the shift and an improvement in fuel economy but less pep, totally plausible at this time.

But reading all of the same negative comments from when the car was revealed years ago never gets old! Gotta love the comment sections

Ford doesn't break out the sales themselves but a guy on thetruthsboutcars.com put out some very specific numbers for them at one point. Shockingly low for all the circle jerking. I'll see if I can find it.
