Just today I checked some videos for n2. I don’t want something loud but a little more than the stock. Do you consider anything whiter than the n2 such as the r400 or any other brand. Any experiences with the others ?

Thanks

i have the N1, lmk if you want to hear it in person. oem header and front pipe. idk who said the N1 is too aggressive, but if you keep the rest stock, theres not much a catback can do to make your car over the top loud.

You should definitely hardwire it in. It's super simple, ground it to the bolt that's behind your hood release latch, and pop the fuse tap into the fuse box right above it. ft86speedfactory has a video if you want a visual. So much cleaner than taking up the lighter.

That was the initial plan. The module has the - (ground) and + (fuse tap with 10A fuse includes- not sure which fuse to use, maybe the p/pin1 or 2 which are the cigarette lighters). But in addition to those two wires there is also an auxiliary wire which is for custom color door opening.
I tried to wire it to the door light trigger but it did not light up when opening the door. I was little scared to short the system so I decided not to wire it. What I want is that the auxiliary wiring gets activated like the dome light when you get closer to the car with the key fob.

The footwell illumination with the cigarette lighter turns on only when the engine is on. Ideally the whole system should be activated with the dome light and change the custom color when the door is opened.

Will definitely search and finalize a hardwire.

Thanks

I'm very particular about loud exhausts. I had a Q300 and over the course of a year it became too loud. So put on the HKS Legamax Sport and it was very quiet. So I'm not a good reference

I still haven't hooked up my auxiliary wire. I tried to tap it into the dome light but all it did was short out my bulb lol. I may try to get another fuse tap and find the dome light fuse for that.

Anyway here's where I have the fuse tap. It's the unlabeled spot next to the tail light fuse.
They only turn on when the car is on. Only thing is when you put the fuse tap in, you can no longer put the fuse box cover back on. I just keep it in the glove box.

Here's the video I mentioned that shows where to ground it.

Thanks for the extra information. I wired my radar and camera with fuse taps so the cover is already in the glove box

Never thought about an unlabeled fuse slot (Tbh I did not know whether they are just + getting activated with the engine start). Good to know!
Do you think that the dome light is the only option to get the system activated before you start you car?
Would be nice to to have the system light up when the dome light is on.

Thanks

That would be smooth, open your door at night and the dome light and your 8nterior lighting comes on.

Same here! I picked up the $9 turtle wax kit and it fully met expectations!

The carbon trunk is very nice, however, IMHO the car ride height needs to be tweaked so that the truck is visually balanced and why not swap the hood?

I did the same thing, sadly it's a temporary fix. Once you sand off that factory clear coat, they are always going to haze up again. You can try adding some film protection on top after you buff them, that might help.
