Dodge made a minvan that was very close for a while a couple of years back. Not only was it flashy I have read on here that it was much faster than an 86.

Hey! Don't forget HBB! We're out here too. Actually, we replaced our Hot Lava with a Supernova 86 this year. (actually the story is much longer than that, but that's what it equated to)

And yeah, I'm just waiting for the report to be available to get the info.
No the car was totaled by a woman that ran a stop sign at about 50mph and while I was getting my family taken care of and into the ambulance we were taken away before I could get any of the other drivers info or even make a statement to the officers that responded.

I got completely hosed on the whole deal. I was doing about 15mph after someone had just made a left causing me to come to almost a complete stop ~150 feet earlier and I had just put my foot back on the throttle. She didn't even slow down and just barreled into us, all I saw was a flash of silver before the airbag punched me in the face. Because it was the front of my car and there were no skid marks showing that I attempted to evade I was assessed a 20% penalty. It took my insurance almost 2 weeks to get the other drivers info because the PD held up everything because I wasn't a resident of that town. When I went to pick up the accident report at the town hall I tried to dispute the incorrect info and they told me "Doesn't it just suck when you're not a resident of this town". I about freaked and had to be escorted out or I was going to be arrested.

Yep, very common color for sports cars/pony cars in the '60s. Every boy and half the girls I grew up with wanted this car (and most still do).

It's hard not looking for my car when I come out of a store! I try to find my car and am lost in a sea of normal colors, only to realize "Oh hey, you're in the white Caddy over there".
they are indeed quite safe. my hot lava's front end got creamed by a woman running a redlight going around 50 MPH and I didn't really feel a thing...heck, the airbag was by far the most painful part of the accident.

who cares what they think you should get...too many people in NA are already driving something unnecessarily large, thirsty or overpowered...

gruesome i know, but so hard to look away

Speaking of Hot Lava @Tcoat did you ever get yours back from the paint shop? I may have missed it since I was out of town a week and got way behind on the forum.

No it has not gone in yet. It was set to go in when I was in SC but the PDR guy is going to teach me some tricks so I said to hang on. It was then supposed to go in the week I came back but I was busy at work (it actually does happen) now it is supposed to go in next Thursday so I can learn the PDR and they can have it the week I am away in Reno to do the actual paint. That all hinges on them not getting a few paying jobs at the same time. I am not in a rush and free is free so as long as it get's done someday I am not worried.
