Not reading USB to play music
Hello everyone. I just bought a new 2016 FRS. My usb card is not being read at all. Are there specific usb cards/brands that I have to use? Mine is a sandisk cruzer glide and has been reformatted to FAT32 and still nothing. Any help would be much appreciated.
*UPDATE* I was able to fix it. Apparently the usb port connection was not plugged in to the back of the Head Unit. I was wondering why the AUX worked but not the USB. The USB is plugged into the head unit and the Aux connection is plugged somewhere else. Plugged the USB (grey) port and everything works fine now. Try disconnecting/reconnecting battery. That fixed my problem with the BRZ's usb audio not working once.

I've only had success using a 16gb thumb drive...I also use sandisk cruzer thumb drive.....it's dirt cheap at Best Buy or Office Depot.

It only recognizes .mpg files.
All my music was in .ogg so I had to reformat it all into a PNY 16gb fingernail USB as .mpg before it would do anything at all. Works fine now.

2014 scion frs
I'm having trouble with my audio. I was messing with my USB car charger by adding wires to it for like a second charger. Everything worked fine for the first 5 mins. Than. I turned off my car and back on And my Bluetooth option on my stereo disappeared. When I go to connect the Bluetooth. The connect option is not there. The day after I plugged in the aux and worked fine. But later on that day no sound was coming. Need help if anybody can give it to me. Thank
