It would be really hard for me to give you an accurate description of how it is. I did that mod so long ago, I don't remember how it sounded by itself. Now I am supercharged, with exhaust, shorter gearing, a more aggressive differential, solid carrier bushings, all of which have added more noise. I do remember that after driving in it for a time, I either got used to it or the noise lessened from it "wearing in". That's about the best reply I can give you. Sorry for the late response @Jake_86

I have installed the Powerflex Gearbox black series and it makes a great job although it increases NVH substantially which is annoying somehow (mostly bright buzzing).


This weekend I will try to reduce the noise level in the car and need to understand the purpose of the big stock bolt in the middle of the transmission mount. Does anyone know what this bolt is doing other than being fixed between the upper and the lower part of the transmission mount?
