Everything said and shown in that video could have been condensed down to four minutes.

I think you will find that "most" drivers don't care about either. It is car guys that care not the general public. Go ask 20 random people in a shopping mall parking lot how much power their car has. I doubt you would get 5% that could even tell you. Same as you said they can't drive in a straight line the vast majority have never gone WOT in their driving life. Even when they should have!
Now, obviously he was making a review for "car guys" not the general public but that still does not mean that "all" drivers place power over handling.

Yep. Less time spent per capita.

They just care that it's grounded to the ground.

Clown Roman@TFL sucks at car journalism as always (love the people per capita comment LOL classic Roman) so many missed opportunities to truly compare them even with the embargo but decides to harp on about share platforms, costs, etc. And boy he really does take corners like a grandma, holy moly what are those wide turns for! What is the point of any comparison from him on a sports car...

Roman's meemaw driving highlights the fact that most people drive their cars like couches with wheels hence why they struggle to appreciate the twins..

The Regular Car Review of the new Supra will likely be a lot more informative. Here's their review of the old Supra, complete with Hot ****s.

Here's their old review for the FR-S and BRZ.

The video wasn't perfectly edited, but I like what he had to say for the most part. He loves the Supra. His age is where the $ demographic will be, so here you see the average Supra buyer, perhaps on the higher side of the median age.

At one point I heard him use a non-existent word, "indefinable". Despite that and the "people-per-capita", which really should have been "population density", I watched the whole video, primarily to see his take on the Supra. I agree with him on almost all points.

Lastly, a Supra driven without rapidly accelerating will no doubt get better MPG than the twins. The way I drive? No f^&%ing chance!

I'll wait for someone with some insight and communication skills to produce a video, or preferably write an article. Not super into "hip Dad who golfs and smokes stogies on the weekends" for my knowledge of automobiles - even the ones I can't afford.

More interested in the overall impression of the car than how fast it goes around a track.

In the same way that the Jeep wrangler is now automatic , the new automatic Toyota supra shares the same "driving in a straight line auto/manual is irrelevantly boring"but comfortable.
May as well save some money and buy a comfortable automatic reliably boring camry.
Without a manual transmission where is the "fun to drive" factor?

Finally got to watch it. Interesting that its smaller inside than the 86. Not sure about how the new Supra looks. Hopefully looks better in real life!
