Can you explain how you mounted it? More pictures would be appreciated as well.

So I been meaning to put this strap on for awhile now just didn't exactly how to do it because I didn't wanna drill into the car and because of the 2 diffrent sizes of bolts, one of the bolts is 7/16 which goes on the strap and the other was what comes with the car oem hook, So I had no other sulotion but to use the oem thread and the 7/16 that were both cut with a big industrial saw, welded all the way around(oem bolt is a zinc metal "which is bad to be smelling while welding because of the coding it has", and the 7/16 was a stainless steel),So I measured how much of the strap I wanted out I took the oem hook and tighten it all the way and marked it so that was my length. One also has to heat up the stainless in the strap to bend what ever way they like, I'll post lengths to both of the threads and stuff in the morning if you'll like ... But does it work to actually pull you out a ditch who knows I believe it will it's only 2700 pounds but my intentions were not to make it functional but just for looks and just did that ...

The strap type look to me like they will flap in the wind and mar the paint.

Thats what I'm thinking as well, also I like the look of tow hooks better. Straps look a little, off or out of place.

Why did you not just go through the factory hole/mounting point?
Why can't you take a photo straight on either :p
