Is that a new model number for the automatic transmission or am I mistaken?

EDIT: Just looked it up, apparently it is the same.

Why would you need an engine upgrade when the car is an aerodynamic sandwich. I have never seen any automobile described as such. What a load of snake oil.

"This is a technique that uses air currents above, below, and on either side of the vehicle to sandwich it, which improves handling stability without negatively affecting the vehicle's drag coefficient"

Seriously? Sounds like the White House wrote this crap

Truth be told, had I noticed that previous post, I would probably not have made this thread but Toyota really doesn't leave us time to read forum topics while we work so I missed it... so sorry about that part. And again those are just some tidbits from the introduction performance section of the 2015 new car features. I wasn't about to print and post all 100 or so pages.

Can you give us a link to the full document or upload it to dropbox or something?

Your biggest upgrade (depends on how you view it) is going to be the electric power steering. I'm not to fond of EPS for the mere fact that it really numbs the feedback from the road to driver. Unless they went hydraulic-EPS, then yes.

Hopefully they will offer a different engine option with the mid-cycle refresh. Which should either be MY16 or 17.

Nothing wrong with wanting a little more power and performance.

I added a few mods to enhance my 86.. header, cat-back and a tune. Decent return of horsepower per $$$ spent. Also upped the rubber and dropped her an inch on some decent springs. Car is near perfect for me now.

I think the next thing to do will be a brake upgrade... /hmmm

I guess I was off by one year. The '16 is going to be a Scion-badged LFA, but there is still some discussion going on on how to shave 330K off the price.

People just like speculation they're just gonna say "it'll get it in ____(insert my here)" over and over again till we get real evidence of an engine change lol

We actually have to login thru our Toyota workstations so theres no link I could give you without you needing a login and password of ours to use/see it. And again its a very big pdf...I wouldn't have enough time to keep running to the scanner for it at my dealership. Its too time consuming.
