That thing is awesome. It weighs 1000 pounds less than a FR-S . In the video it looks like it rips. I would want one but one thing worries me... a ford engine.

Reminds me of a kit car. Nice looking little car. Does indeed look like a race car.

I'm very curious about those wheels. A google search showed they are 17x7.5 +48 all around but I can't find the bolt pattern. ><

That car is F***ing sick! I remember I had a Ginetta G4 in Gran Turismo 3 that weighed about 1400lbs and made 220hp. Scary fast and very easy to get airborne! If I were looking for strictly a weekend toy, I'd definitely take this over the BRZ/FR-S just because it's so different. However the fact that it's British and looks a less "finished" than the BRZ/FR-S means I would not be picking it for my daily driver.

Edit: wait, it weighs 1752lbs! Yup, I'd take one

Hell no.. What a PoS! It may go fast but it looks like a plastic toy pulled out of a 'Kinder Surprise'. The kind of 1 piece toy that makes you regret spending $1.90 on a stupid chocolate egg with the promise of something mysterious inside.

86 all the way

Its nothing like a brz/86 though.

Its not even a comparison truthfully, the G40R is a trackday car, minimal interior, no creature comfort or daily living factored in and if I were to get a track day car, it would be a Caterham7, KTM xbow, or Ariel Atom. The FRS was designed to be accomodating to every day use... it has child-seat hooks for petes sake!

Just like a Lotus Elise. Interesting little track/weekend car but I would not want to live with one on a daily basis.
