@wu_dot_com , I don't know but the dealers aren't automatically giving this update to the FRS even though the TSB calls for it. Mine threated a $40 surcharge and refused. I found out today I was on the original ZA1JA00C calib. Which explains my distaste for the engine so far. Just buy a tatrix cable and update to the 2014 ZA1JB01C, it is really worth it. The idle and reving is much smoother. In another thread it was claimed that all 2014's since Jan were mandated for the dealers to flash to the ZA1JB01C. The logic is so different romraider definitions are requiring extensive updating. All just tells me that this is an essential update.

Anyone get the update and now have any issues?
I got the ecu update today and now am noticing that intial depressing on the gas pedal will seem to cause the engine to "shake" for a briefly before actually reving the rpm. also seems to happen when I start the car too... |

Called the dealership about the fuel crickets and the RPM dip. Service guy said he hasn't seen the TSB for the RPM drop, but he took care of the fuel crickets. And I thought I was smart buying the last 2013 on the lot..

are you finding that this "fix" isn't really a fix? i'm finding that the dip still happens when i stop but now now that the "fix" has been applied all it has done is moved the idle RPM up a few hundred so that when it does dip (which it definately still does) doesn't dip as low ( normal idle now 600-800rpm dip 300-400) |
