Dipping: I must be far, far, far from being a Redneck. Never heard of the term before. Can it be chewing tobacco?

Like the song says, "You can't hide redneck, even in a 3-piece suit"!

Lol, but on a serious note, I've been dipping for about 10 years now, it's a rough habit to quit. I wish they made some kind of stop-dip aid. Smokers have electronic cigarettes (tried using it to ween myself off dip, but I'm just not a smoker), the patches don't seem to work all that well, and the beef-jerky "dip" only helps with the motions of dipping, not with the nicotine addiction.

My stepbrother started dipping to get off cigarettes. Well, that backfired. He started doing both! Mmm, lung and mouth cancer!

I vow to not fart in my car because I want it to smell nice and new inside, and not to eat inside of it

I have a story to share. This is also when i quit.

Back when i smoked i was driving a 1988 S10 Blazer down 217 in the Portland Oregon area. i was finished with a cigarette and flicked it out the window...

...wind caught it and brought it back in the cabin!! it landed between the seat and my back. in my attempt to get it out i had turned the wheel to the left. "luckily" i was in the fast lane and that the wheels i had on the car at time stuck out about an inch.

i hit the cement median and the wheels caught. i was driving at and angle, 2 wheels on the pavement and 2 wheels on the cement median. i turned the wheel to the right and the car dropped back down.

I looked in my rearview mirror and there was about a mile of clear roads behind me, which for 217 a mile of clear road never happens. I decided right then that smoking was no longer cool, smoking in a car and littering was f-ing stupid.

I've been a daily marijuana user for 20 years and I occasionally blaze one in the car... It doesn't leave the same long term smell as cigarettes but it does... Um... Er.... What's that thing in the sky?

It's not that the smell went away, it's your nose got used to the smell. The only way cigarette smell can go away from a car is you burn down the entire car.

i dont smoke, but i've had a couple of "medical" cigarettes in my car because sometimes it's just too damn cold out.

i try to keep it to a minimum though, the smell is a killer.

So, I quit to buy the car.
The amount i save not smoking pays for nearly 3/4 of the car..
I also don't smell any more

My last car, I wasn't going to smoke in it.
Drove it out of the dealer, hit the redline about 400meters down the road, then lit up a smoke. think the car then had 11km on it haha

its fact if you don't fart in your car, that new car smell will last a long, long time!
i would still leave the windows open whenever possible though! eating in a car after farting, spoils my appetite.
