I won't rule it out but there is nothing on the market right now that I want to buy.

I'm a bit concern with the extra noise and I definitely want one that has a cat.

Wasn't keen on spending $ on something that gives no benefit.

Are people not concerned that they're unshielded/uncoated so close to the steering box? What sort of clearance is there with the Perrin overpipe?

There is around 20mm clearance I think. Also the front sway is in between.

Remember the steering components are up higher in this car and only the rack is close. I can't say 100% no concern but since I'm not going FI and there are space around there for hot air to escape, I'm not too concerned at the moment. Ill pop the bonnet everytime after track sessions and hard drives. I also put some heat reflective tape on the subframe, chassis and other parts that are close but not the steering rack.

I had issues with the over pipe flange to front pipe flange snapping bolts with the standard header. We readjusted all joins to try and get some more slack but it still happened. Then after installing the avo kit, their dump pipe shifted the forwards over pipe flange just enough that it caused the over pipe to hit, so we adjusted the avo dump.

My car had a bloody terrible rasp on cold start, and even sometimes a tinny rasp/drone kind of thing when driving but putting the turbine in the exhaust stream basically washed all of those noises out of the sound.

Still lovin my SRT exhaust.... The over pipe didn't fit of course I had one made to suit for $250. This included fitting the whole exhaust.
Its a header back, sounds great.

Neal Bates (Australian Rally and Toyota Guru) has designed and builds a full exhaust system at his shop in Canberra. The full system will set you back around $3000, but the workmanship is exceptional, the sound is amazing, his racing credentials speak for themselves and this system is increasing power by almost 10%. That's right, an extra 14 odd kw. He reckons most of that is in the headers.

Let the sledging of the price commence - but before you do check the power increase (actual NOT claimed) of some of the bolt on brand named exhausts. $1500 for 3-4kw (if you're lucky) OR...

Here you go tried putting a youtube vid together. Dont recommend getting this exhaust as the customer service is very poor. Still it sounds good.
