Angeles Crest Highway Cruise, Mulholland Drive/Higway Cruise, Little Tunjunga Canyon Rd Cruise, San Gabriel Canyon Cruise, Glendora Canyon Cruise, Highland Valley Road Cruise? A Saturday or Sunday. Maybe June 1st or 2nd. I know some of these roads are burnt out to many local PDs and CHP on some of these. Unless we can do another local cruise in the IE?

What about June 1st or June 2nd? Gives us a little over a month. Theirs a couple of places out their to eat. If everyone wants sandwiches theirs a place called amangelas, Theirs also a burger place called Trolls of Big Bear, and etc. The only thing that we would run into is parking depending how many people go.

as for parking lets get the date set and then a head count to determine where we will go. as for the dates let me look t the track events. that will be about a week before the big vegas event also.

Ok let me know what you find out on the dates. I contacted a couple of restaurants/fast food locations and they say they have approximately 20-25 parking spaces for their business only. A couple of them offered to reserve those parking space for us. So we gotta see. I'm willing to go up their and take a look of the road along with photo areas too a week or two ahead of time

Big bear run sounds fun, but as my schedule lies right now I'll be at work both the 1rst and 2nd (that might change though). Anyone plan on going to the Rowland Heights meet tomorrow night?

DesertFrs and I meet up over the weekend and it was a great time. We talked about having meetings on Saturdays and two different carting tracks one being K1 and the second a new track in the desert area. What do you guys think?

This is outta left field but if you're looking to kart in the Ontario/Rancho area, I suggest you check out Fast Lap. K1 is nicer, newer and slightly cheaper but Fast Lap is gas powered, a wider track, and rewards driving fundamentals over bumper car style with K1 (plus, no meddling employees restricting your electric karts! ). The karts and tires are raggedy but it's a much more fun experience in my opinion.

I don't work for Fast Lap!

Costco members can buy a voucher online and it costs $6 per race (5 races for $30, races are at least 10 minutes and you'll get about 20-22 laps in) which can be used for any drivers. If you guys decide to go there, no one has a Costco membership AND scheduling works out, I can get the voucher and we can divvy up the cost. Just be sure to bring a helmet or head sock, otherwise you'll need to buy theirs for $2.

There's also Adams karting track in Riverside - it's outdoor and gas powered but I haven't been there in ages. It was a lot of fun ~10 years ago, not sure if it's even more beat up or if it's gotten nicer since they opened it up to cars.

Anyways, just throwin' it out there!
