RAM mount or Beatsonic.

I love my Beatsonic in the FRS but kinda far to read being that far away. I have a magnetic mount that works great for my OFT but my phone vibrates off/wierd angles too often. The RAM mount I have in my MR2 is solid as hell and that thing shakes like a mofo. I went through 3 mounts and the rest was like having someone with Parkinson's hold my phone for me. Couldnt even follow Google Maps well.

RAM Mount works well on the driver side front triangle window. The only bummer is that snaking a power cord over there is a hassle. And when you open the door, the cord can get in the way.

I switched to a Beatsonic but with a Scosche Magic Mount on it. The Scosche piece pops right into the Beatsonic. Great for daily use, too.

Have my magnet mount on that small triangle window. My OFT has taken a beating from me forgetting to disconnect it before opening my door

I've been using the Quadlock car mount and it's been terrific. I put it on my windshield and put my iPhone 8 Plus in landscape mode so the camera can record as well. It's stable and not going anywhere, plus when I get out it's just a simple 45° twist and its off.

I used to use some CD slot mount which worked pretty well, but then I got a new headunit that didn't have a CD slot. So now, I've been using the RAM X-Mount with twist-lock suction cup. For some reason, it takes several tries for the suction cup to actually stick to the windshield. Sometimes I wonder if I just got a defective one or something.

Any shakey video on the track? I found the Ram mount does not work for phone video on the track. Hoping this could a better solution?

Do you have any video links to track video you have done with this mount for comparison?

Thanks

I'm bumping this cause, as others have said, I tried a RAM mount and the video is super shaky with my iphone 6s on track.

Willing to try the Scosche. Wanted to check if anyone's got updates.

I'm curious if anyone has tried the Scosche 'magic mount' with one of the smaller light weight 7" tablets ? My tablet weighs 250gms which is about maybe 70-80 gms more than my Galaxy phone I think.

I bought a sticky suction cup mount for my phone and the video comes out nice and clear. This is the exact one I got:

Here is some video with overlay I took at the track with it last year:

I made a hard mount that bolts to one of the bolts that the TPI mounts to. I'll take some pictures tonight.
