That colour looks a LOT like the Cool Grey Khaki colour that the 2018 Subaru Crosstrek picked up.

it's a blue-ish gray .... depending on how light hits it. When it's dark out, it looks more gray ... at least that's my take on it, not seeing it in person

Taken straight from their website:

-Heated power outside mirrors in Raven black
-Matte-black rear wing with aerodynamic end plates and supports in Raven black

The only 2 things I'd actually want from the non-US version (the wheels and brake upgrade) are not included. I don't know if marketing at Toyota is even trying anymore.

The sad part is that the marketing department probably poured a million yen or more into surveys, focus groups, web monitoring (including here so HI MARKETING GUYS oh wait...
こんにちはマーケティングの男性) and other data collection services and this is what all that info told them the public wants.

Dare I say they are also setting themselves up for failure by doing that. Dealerships nearby had no 2017s in stock almost all year. Just one within a 100 mile radius. They may have learned their lesson, or sales just dropped off hard enough that they don't see a reason to order them in my area.

They seem to be holding up as well as anything else in the segment for 2017. The 86 is only an 8% drop over 16 and the BRZ held even.

The whole category is taking a shit kicking in sales.
http://carsalesbase.com/us-car-sales...nt/#more-48718

Not nearly as bad as the larger segment though. The mighty mustang was down 24% and the Z4 well over half.
http://carsalesbase.com/us-car-sales...nt/#more-48736

Sales in 2017 were down by more than 10% almost across the board with the only segments showing any real growth being pickup trucks.

The point being that sales figures can not be looked at in isolation since they can be very deceiving.
