Toe is 0 for all corners for me.
Nice, yeah, I'm probably getting the SPC LCA's with the Toe kit it comes with. Should be everything I need for a perfect alignment.

I'm checking the brakes when I get home just to be sure, but I'm almost positive it isn't the brakes and it has to do with the rear settings causing me to slightly veer to the right.

Maybe there's something in-between your pads and rotor, causing them to bite more on that side...

Yeah, I'm going to do a pretty thorough inspection on labor day. My braking really sucks and they aren't very responsive as I have to literally mash the pedal to do a harder stop. I haven't had time to even lift up the car to check the brakes since I got the alignment done. Prepping for a vacation to Alaska for a week.

At least it will give me time to get the SPC LCA with the toe kit shipped and I can do all that on Monday. That should be enough adjustment for what I need.

Send a message via AIM to Racecomp Engineering
Get a printout this time too when you have your alignment.

Well I got my alignment done, not exactly what I had hoped for but it's not bad. Was hoping for more camber in the rear, but the guys there were having a tough time with the toe after adjusting camber - they did the best they could but I would probably go somewhere more experienced with this stuff next time.

Front: -1.5deg cam, 0.0deg toe
Rear: -0.9deg cam, +0.1deg toe l/r

I'm still pulling left on acceleration, right on deceleration quite substantially. I've been doing some reading and it could be a few things, bad tire, bad strut, bad bushing. I'm going to try swapping wheels left to right and see if the issue moves to the opposite direction - I guess the next step after would be to check the coilover. Is there any quick test to see if there could be an issue with one coil without removing them from the car? I don't really want to have to pay for another alignment unless I absolutely need to.

Turned out to be the tire, doesn't look to be sealed correctly. Tire rack is taking care of me. Can't wait to get all this crap sorted out and get back to driving my car!

I couldn't find the exact image, but this had me cracking up because it totally made me think of the FLCL (Fooly Cooly) anime and the first crazy mange-esque scene with the dad yelling, "What do you MEEEAANNN?!!!???!!":

Sorry, totally off-topic! @djdnz, I'm glad you got it figured out! I was hoping it was just the tire. I had a bag plug last week on my STI wheels, making the car constantly pull to the left. Got it fixed professionally, though, and good as new!

Thanks guys. FWIW I don't recommend the Continental ExtremeContact DW's. They feel so much more muted than the stock tires did. Next set I'll go with the set I should have picked in the first place, the Michelin PSSs.

I'm using that tire with no issues at all.

Well, now my car is not driveable. Brake is seized up. Not sure which one yet, but I can't even move. Guess I'll find out what the seize is caused by when I get back on Labor Day. My vote is a brake line rather than a caliper. Might just replace the stock ones while I'm in there.

Things are just not going my way with this install.

Bummer, I know the feeling about your last comment - more than two months after ordering the coils I am almost able to try them lol... Were you doing something with the brakes at the same time as you were doing the coilover install such that it all happened at once? I'm curious what could have caused it.

Did you possibly smash something while you were in there? Fingers crossed its not the caliper.

No, the brakes just dangled in the back and I left them there and just pushed the lines aside while I installed the coils. The stock lines are the only thing I can think of that would be causing the seize. I find it hard to believe a car with 9400 miles has a bad caliper, but I will find out when I inspect it. Right now the caliper is locked on one of the wheels but I wasn't able to see which one.

If it turns out to be a bad caliper, I suppose new brake lines are on the list.
