Toyota of Renton (Bob Bridge) review.
Just wanted to give two thumbs up on these guys. If you're considering a Scion FRS, go here.
The General Manager is Bob Brit (who I spoke with first) and the salesman I did business with is Jesse (there's only 1 Jesse there in sales). I ordered a 6MT Hot Lava and it took about 6 weeks to arrive. Jesse called me about every 2 weeks with an update (even if he had no update). Then he called me when he knew some landed in Portland and were being loaded on a train and that mine might be part of that group. It was. In fact my car arrived 2 weeks before it was scheduled to and I let it sit on the lot for a week while I was out racing in Spokane. They treated me fair on the trade-in, gave a nice tutorial of the car and didn't let anyone test drive it. They also honored my request to NOT have the front license plate frame installed and to not wash it. There was no funny business regarding the PURE pricing. I've owned it since Saturday and Jesse gave me a call to make sure I was fully satisfied and talk about the oil changes. The only "rough" part of the transaction was the financial guy. He got me 1.84% financing which was awesome (vs 2.75 at my credit union) but he was a bit aggressive and tried to sell me every damn warranty under the sun, even on aftermarket wheels... seriously. I said no to every warranty because in 5 years the car will have a cage in it. But, this is part of the experience at every dealership. You always have to watch out for the "finance guy", it's like getting a free dinner at a time-share seminar. I could tell he was "sold" on the stuff he was trying to sell me. There's a LOT of bad dealers out there and Bob Brit and Jesse went out of their way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, treated me fairly and followed up with good communication. Would visit again. |

Update: went from happy client to pissed off in a matter of weeks. Was promised a bunch of different delivery dates, and still no FRS.

I bought my argento from Ron Lewis there! Had a great experience as well. Picked mine up on July 5th. Ron even came in on his day off so I could pick it up, awesome guy to deal with no hassles at all.
