Jerf, I bought a Corsa cat back and installed it two weeks ago. Will you be running it with a header, or just the cat back? BTW i am in love with the exhaust sound now. i just noticed you are supercharged, would love to hear this when done.

I had Corsa catbacks on my Shelby GT500. The sound was incredible, especially when you came on the throttle hard. Normal idle and cruising speeds they were great with no drone. I listened to a lot of systems and ultimately went with the Corsa on my GT500 because nothing else compared to them at the time (I know this is subjective). I can't speak for the BRZ/FR-S catback system as I don't have one (yet), but my experience with their systems on my GT500 tells me you should be pleased as their quality and sound are top notch.

The exhaust is good and broken in now, and I love it. Everybody that hears it comments on it. I get strangers telling me to "rev it so I can hear it", and my wife and family love it. My wife says that it sounds like it "shoulda" when you bought the car. And it isn't noisy at all at highway speeds, unless you mash the go pedal all the way. I'm 100% satisfied with my choice, Corsa did not disappoint!

Well the important thing is you're happy! Now you'll just need to get a video up of how it sounds.

+1 for more clips from the owners.

This exhaust is at the top of my list. I considered the Tomei 60S before, but it's too loud (local autocross regulation), looks immature, and loses the OEM fat-muffler design (loss in aerodynamics). The Corsa seems perfect for me; not too loud, retains OEM-like muffler, and tasteful looking tips.

This is the day I installed the Corsa catback.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...ighlight=corsa

I think it sounds better now.
My exhaust setup is just the catback for now. I will post some additional videos or sound clips when I can. Probably not this weekend, too busy.

Anyone have a Corsa catback with an UEL header? My ideal setup would be a catted UEL header (FT86SF, pending owner feedback), 2.5" overpipe to prevent drone, and Corsa. Would love to hear how that sounds!

btw, that setup would be a complete replacement of the factory exhaust system, right?

unfortunately not. You would still be missing the front pipe. I would recommend the nameless catted OP/FP combo with helmholtz resonator. The resonator usually removes all drone.

This was exactly what I was considering actually. Combined with the Corsa, I imagine it would sound amazingly clean. The FR-S exhaust is confusing... especially since I can't find a clear underbody picture of the Corsa.

The top 2 pieces make up the mid-pipe.
