Release Series 2.0 details leaked?

Hey, so some details of the next Release Series may have been leaked early. Here is the post before it was deleted. What do you guys think? Has anyone heard any rumors? I'm guessing official details will be revealed at the end of the month.

Poster said that he got those details after purchasing his car. Could totally be fake. Not sure why he would quickly delete his post though. It will be interesting to see if anything else leaks soon. Shouldn't it be about time for a special edition MY16 soon? I think they already have camel colored interior pieces in Japan.

I hope RS 2.0 the refreshed model. We all know the car is due for a refresh in the coming months.

The MY16 is already out though and there are no special editions out. The facelift will likely be for MY17, so it will probably be a while if they decide to have a release series for the new model.

I'll probably end up trading my car in for the next RS. Providing it's not a driving TRD advertisement and the exterior isn't a stupid colour.

Hope it gets hp boosted by 15 minimum and torque by 10 minimum. Compression dropped just a tiny bit or a 2.2/2.4 implemented.

Body kit 5axis standard, only 6mt. A shinier new pearl white!

^^^ My wishes.

BTW, my first post was as a joke. LOL not literal.

the interior part sounds right, that's the new color option for 86 starting this year in japan.

Interesting. I can't think of many colors that would go well with that other than white and black. Some kind of gold might be cool.

The original poster was reliable in my opinion. At little afraid to stand up to the resulting questions maybe but still reliable.
Itchi has been hinting and news the last few days so this is probably it.

I haven't seen any pictures yet, but a search turned up a few Toyota dealers with partial specs. Engine still the same (naturally), basically same stuff all around. The only thing I did notice on a couple of the sites, though, was the color availability: "Desert Khaki" with tan interior. Tan leather is listed on one site as an option. I will try to go back and get the links to the sites, but if it does turn out to be khaki and tan I think you can count me out. Could anything be more bland? Then again, maybe it's a special edition just for zik and the UAE crowd.

The original, unedited, pre deleted, seemingly reliable post said it was a sandy beige sort of colour.
Sort of a 180 from "hey look at me" RS1 to "let me just sneak in here" RS2 by the sounds of it.

If we see a refresh at all next year it won't be until September. They are not going to do it after the 16 release even for special editions. That would cut their throats for 16 sales.
