Lightbulb Toyota 86 Debut Press Brochures Reveal Special Editions/Models? (Full Scans)

Below are the full scans of the press kits accompanying the Toyota 86's reveal at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. Perhaps the most interesting page is the one which appears to show several special edition/model 86 variants.

Sorry, no english versions.

Some of the more interesting points:

the D-4S system in the 86 is not the current D-4S system available in already existing toyota products. it is a next gen D-4S system. without it it would have been impossible to make 200hp without reving it more than 7000rpm and it would have been impossible to meet their ambitious gas mileage targets. this makes me think that they didn't go for a higher redline in order to produce some very high mileage numbers. apparently there was a lot of apprehension to exposing subaru engineers to this next gen tech that hadn't even been put to market yet.

Uh... One of those has a friggin sweet front mount intercooler and CF hood. Is that a sign that we can expect turbo options on this car in the future?

If it's a race spec car like the Subaru GT300 car, it probably won't be using a stock engine...
