Yes they're hand made on the premium and stage two kits, I've seen the guy welding them up. I'm pretty sure LJ chains him to the bench and feeds him scraps cause the guy never goes home lol.

Is there a bracket or something holding the turbo to the engine block somewhere?

I have the premium kit with the handmade header, and it is HEAVY. I haven't had a chance to look at it all in detail, but I assume that something holds all that stuff (header/turbo/downtube) up other than just the 6 header bolts.

Nope. Because the header basically places the collector parallel to the ground, I think it is more than fine to support the weight of the turbo. I know you guys all think V bands and "handmade" are cool, but I will still take my production T3 flange setup anyday.

I take it though that the design doesn't have any issues with anything coming loose?

Seems like a lot of weight to dangle out there, held on by just the header bolts. I assumed there was some type of bracket up near or at the turbo that helped support the whole thing, but I'm not an engineer, so I'll just install the kit and run it.
