Whoa whoa whoa - we've never claimed the v3 to make 380 bhp. With the Flash Editor on E85 it's 320 to the wheels, 93 octane is 270 to the wheels, 91 octane is 250 to the wheels. The 7040L supercharger is certainly capable of making that, but you'll definitely need a custom tune to get there.
The hks dyno shows 168whp for stock brz with no mod and it shows 319whp for 13psi hks v3 .
Stock car is 197bhp and if we multiple it by 90% we get 375bhp.

The 178whp base run was not "showroom stock" which may be throwing your calculation off. With the required mods for the Flash Editor (below) we were probably around ~220 hp at the flywheel for the base run on the stock calibration.

The dyno chart in your link and the dyno chart I quoted are the same runs with the same numbers and results. Japan drew a "prettier" chart, we posted it straight from the DynoJet software.

Good question! I'm pretty sure it's hybrid but I couldn't tell you any of the thresholds off the top of my head. I'll poke around the cal this afternoon and see what I can find.

It seems hybrid is better way.
I think hks could improve sales circle with selling base tune in unlock ecutek format.

@Scott@HKSUSA - Does the kit with HKS Tuner come with a different MAP sensor?

@Toyota86.ir - Most "TUNER" kits without tuning don't usually include base Ecutek tune. There are plenty of E-Tuners out there i.e. MotoEast, Delicious, etc. that could provide something that would "work" until you got to a tuner with dyno.

Are we ever going to get a kit available for the 15+ without having to spend another grand on the ecutek?

I prefer to have base map from HKS then let my tuner start to adjust it after sending log files.
