May wait a few years for my 86 GTS

I want to buy my parents a brand new 2013 Honda Accord that comes out in June (likely the $40, 000 luxury 4-cylinder model if it's priced the same).

So the day I get a Toyota 86 can wait.

Cool story bro...

Seems weird to tell the forum that you won't be buying an 86. I admire the generous gesture of buying your parents a vehicle though.

I didn't buy my parents a car, so I bought myself an 86.

A ball of glass will bounce higher than a ball of rubber. A ball of solid steel will bounce higher than one made entirely of glass.

I bought my Mom a Hyundai I30 premium for $30 200 (top of the line, check the features list, itll surprise you for what its got), she was over the moon, that left money to buy my 86 as well.

Will saving over $10000 help or are you guys badge snobs?

Badge snobs? The i30 is a great car.. but it's missing the point.

The 86 is a sports car and is rear wheel drive!

I think you missed the point.

OP is looking to spend money on a car for parents (Honda Accord), @Roadliner has suggested he buy them an i30 and use the leftover money towards his 86.

Given OP has not appeared since his first post I am calling possible troll.
