been thinking about a toy Drive
So i have been thinking it would be pretty cool if our FRS/BRZ community could put together a toy/food drive and collect toys and food for families that need help providing a Christmas for their family. I think it would be cool if we had random pick up places and we fill up our trunks and drop them off to a location where maybe vendors can set up and help us give to the community. This would be somewhat of a car show after but more of a way to show we care. Just don't know how to get something like this started and don't know if anyone would be willing to help. Would need drivers to pick the toys/food up for this to be successful.

Nice idea, but I'd think you'd have more success posting in the regional threads.

This sounds interesting. I could try asking my friends mom if her dealer would like to help if there's enough people interested. It would be Frontier Toyota in Valencia though.

I think this is great idea, it can become a yearly thing. With the way society has become, we need events like this one to show people still care.
On a side note, this upcoming Sunday there will a charity softball game in Torrance. It is to help a little girl with cancer. The teams are already set up, but people are more than welcome to come and support a great cause. Donations would be greatly appreciatiated at the event. I can give more detailed info, if anyone is interested. -I apologize op, didn't mean to thread jack. Just felt it was a thread to include this in. |

I was thinking if everyone went to pick up the boxes then we all meet up at irwindale speedway we can have a mini car show and maybe some vendors can come and make some sells and/or we can set up a spot to let people test their cars out (drifting or in most cases trying to drift lol)
That's only if irwindale speedway would let us use their facilities |
